Summer Field Trip

  • The Center for Wooden Boats on South Lake Union 1010 Valley Street Seattle, WA, 98109 (map)

About the Event:

Derelict vessels are an eyesore and an expensive problem for the public and insurance companies. Join us as we view art created from abandoned boats. We'll meet at noon, tour the exhibit and have a picnic lunch after, outside of the Center for Wooden Boats on South Lake Union.

About the Exhibit:

Join us for Waste Is a Construct, an innovative art installation that transforms derelict boats into powerful works of environmental storytelling. This exhibit re-frames waste as a material of possibility and serves as a call to action.

Through this compelling showcase, we aim to challenge perceptions of waste and inspire new ways of thinking about our relationship with waste and our waterways.
